Rochester Yacht Club Renovation

MRB Group worked with an interior design firm to expand the club by 42,000 square feet, which totally renovated and beautified this notable structure. Originally built in 1922, the Rochester Yacht Club now boasts an expanded, redesigned first level bar, dining room, trophy room, and cabanas.
As part of this renovation, MRB Group:
- Created an exclusive 8-meter octagon dining area.
- Provided elevator and full ADA accessibility.
- Expanded the second floor dining with a walk-out deck.
- Increased the view of the Lake by shortening the roof overhang and providing a glass railing system.
- Provided an octagon gazebo as exterior focal point.
- Provided two new first-level, commercial kitchens; one gives patrons full visual access, which required extensive design.
- Provided geotechnical services to deal with the high water level and created a floating foundation system in response to the ever-changing Lake conditions.
- Provided site engineering to include all underground utilities and a new access, paving, patio work, and property surveys.
