Community Center Rehabilitation

MRB Group designed the expansion and rehabilitation of a former grade school building into the Town of Penfield Community Center.

Project elements included:

• Total court system with two large courtrooms and administration space
• Town library system
• Senior citizen center with separate recreation and kitchen areas
• Town recreation department

The Town of Penfield Community Center required 42,000 square feet of extensive building renovations and significant site work.

• The building was completely gutted to the original structure
• The exterior wall system was replaced
• An efficient library system was established to meet the growing needs of the Town

MRB Group also designed:

• Parking lot upgrades
• New lighting system
• New sidewalks
• New heating system
• New single-ply roof
