Avon Fire Hall
MRB Group designed plans for The Town of Avon’s new fire hall in 2003. We then provided construction observation services while it was being built in 2003 and 2004.
The new structure is a 15,000 square foot pre-fabricated, metal building with masonry walls and a concrete slab. It’s divided into 9,000 square feet of apparatus bays and 6,000 square feet of office/meeting and support space.
The Town of Avon’s new fire hall features:
- Four full bays that accommodate seven trucks
- HVAC, plumbing, and electric systems throughout and special systems in the bay area
- Radio/dispatch room
- Kitchen, conference room, lounge area, exercise room, and offices
- Meeting and training room
- Restrooms and mechanical room
- Security system, fire detection, and sprinkler systems throughout
