(Rochester, New York) February 20, 2009 —MRB Group is proud to announce that the Town of Ontario Water Utilities Department recently received the Municipal Achievement Award from the New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) at their annual meeting in New York City.

MRB Group nominated the Town of Ontario’s Water Utilities Department for this award based on their Watershed Management and Protection Programs, Waste Reduction Initiatives, and their Public Education Efforts. Their programs and policies continue to provide environmental protection and management of one of the most vital natural resources in our region, Lake Ontario. The Municipal Achievement Award was accepted on the Town of Ontario’s behalf by Jim Gresens, P.E., President and Adam Cummings, P.E. Civil Engineer II both of MRB Group.

MRB Group has worked as Town Engineer for Ontario for over 40 years and is proud to serve them along with several other municipalities that are actively engaged in environmental stewardship.
