Open Engineering Positions

Candidate will be responsible for the design and management of projects related to hydrology/hydraulics, water treatment and distribution, and wastewater collection and treatment.  The successful candidate will be knowledgeable of the Southern Tier communities, local permit requirements and will be familiar with jurisdictional and funding agencies.  Individual will be required to provide highly reliable technical guidance to technicians/designers and graduate engineers with an emphasis on scientific interpretations and advice. The Senior Engineer/Project Manager will also represent the firm in meetings and conferences with clients, regulatory agencies, and officials of other organizations. Only candidates with the ability to apply advanced engineering techniques, and demonstrate exceptional problem solving and communications skills will be considered.  A competitive salary and full benefits package are being offered.  Licensure preferred with minimum eight years experience.

PE track for Professional Engineer’s license to assist in our Rochester or Horseheads, NY office. Ability to work in the field on project site inspections and proficiency in AutoCAD are requirements. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with good communication skills and have the ability to work well in a team environment.

PE License or PE track with 5 to 10 years experience working with state and local agencies including municipalities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The candidate must have a working knowledge of the State Environmental Quality Review Act, NYS Phase II stormwater requirements, local zoning and planning requirements, town law, particularly the district formation process, and current planning and development trends. MRB Group is seeking qualified Construction Observers to oversee the construction of various utilities and site improvements. Minimum qualifications include 3-5 years of utility and site construction experience. The successful candidate will be familiar with construction documents and will be responsible to ensure that the construction conforms to the information presented in these documents. Knowledge of the Phase II stormwater requirements is a plus. Highway experience also helpful. Excellent written and oral communications a must.
