Here at MRB Group, we believe in giving back to our community. Our company and our individual employees support numerous fundraisers and community events with donated time and money.
Here are a few examples:
- Ontario Charities Classic The monies raised each year from the Annual Golf Classic go to support three area YMCAs plus numerous other charities such as Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic, and 4-H Camp Bristol Hills. MRB has been able to be a Corporate Sponsor for the past several years.
- James P. Wilmot Cancer Center We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. Thats why we sponsor the annual Discovery Ball to advance cancer research and improve patient care.
- Shepherd Home We support the good works of the Shepherd Home which provides hospice care to members of our community with a terminal illness. It has been our privilege to be a sponsor for their Annual Spring Gala.
- Chase Corporate Challenge MRB participates by fielding a team and also providing the mapping for this event.
- Rochester Marathon for Arthritis Foundation We donate our services to create the event maps.
- Red Wing Big Hitters Club This program provides tickets to a variety of charitable organizations.
- United Way MRB has been supporting United Way for many years. Along with our corporate giving, employees have given generously and we have run successful campaigns. In addition, we participate in the Day of Caring.
- Xerox Classic Golf Tournament MRB Group takes great pride in creating the event map for this event.
- People to People Program We had the opportunity to sponsor a young person to participate in the People to People Program, which provides international educational opportunities for students.
- Wayne Technical and Career Center Student Award MRB contributes to an award fund for graduating seniors who will enter the workforce as skilled electricians, machinists, welders, nurses, and chefs.
- Community Child Care Center Our staff designed and printed marketing materials for their United Way Campaign.
- Haiti MRB Group donated clothing and shoes to needy children in a small village outside Port au Prince. Future travel for engineering assistance on the planning of a future university project will allow MRB employees and their families to continue to assist people in this country.
