MRB Group Designs Baseball Field Dedicated to Local Legend

As Town Engineer for the Town of Sweden, MRB was retained to provide engineering services for a baseball field for their Town Park. This field, dedicated to local baseball legend Ed Nietopski was designed to accommodate high school and college level ball. Nietopski Field includes a grass playing surface, full underdrain and irrigation systems, dugouts, wooden outfield fence and scoreboard. Specific components included as part of MRB’s design included:

• Site grading and site drainage
• Ball field layout
• Underdrain design and layout
• Site design details
• Survey stakeout
